Last year, I ran the 30-piece challenge in my studio. Since the 30-piece challenge can take a long time for some students, I decided to do smaller challenges this year. I just made a December challenge to start with my students next month. A few years ago, I also had an April challenge in my studio. You can read about it here.
The December challenge is a short challenge since there are only a few teaching weeks in December. For this challenge, my students need to do sight reading practice, learn a scale, practice 12 times in the month, and also think about what they’d like to improve for the next year.
I plan to give a treat bag to the students who complete the challenge.
