Consultations for Piano Teachers

Do you have an issue in your studio? Or are you new to teaching?

I would love to help you! I offer a 60-minute online consultation where we meet one-on-one. I’ll get info beforehand from you and will then prepare solutions for you. After we meet, I’ll send a brief summary of the ideas to help you.

I have taught in many different settings. I first started teaching for a preparatory program at a university. I’ve also taught from my house, in students’ homes, online, and finally in the commercial location I opened several years ago. My teaching has included private lessons, weekly group lessons, and occasional group lessons. I have taught ages three through eighty-nine. All of this teaching has spanned nearly twenty years.

Before our consultation: 

  • Contact me to set up a meeting time. A 60-minute consultation is $85 USD.
  • If your issue requires more meetings (such as a new teacher or starting a business), we can meet additional times at a reduced rate. 
  • After we schedule your appointment, I’ll send an invoice to you. The invoice must be paid before our meeting.
  • I’ll send a questionnaire to you so we know what to cover during your consultation.

Our consultation: 

  • We’ll meet online for 60 minutes. We can meet via GoogleMeet, FaceTime, or Skype.

After our meeting:

  • I’ll send a summary to you with the ideas we discussed.  

Policies for Consultations

  • If the payment is not received within 5 days of your booking, your appointment will be removed from my calendar.
  • In the case of serious conflicts (including illness or severe weather), we can reschedule your booking.
