There are endless possibilities of incentive programs in your studio. You can do something like a 30-piece challenge or a monthly practice challenge.
This year, I am having the most success with the easiest and simplest incentive program.
This year, I wanted to count the TOTAL number of pieces that all of my students learned. This is a number I want to tell students and parents at the recital!
To keep track, I put up blank poster boards in my studio. Every time a student finishes a piece, he can put a sticker on the board.
This is a group effort! I don’t put any names or piece titles. We are simply keeping track of this number together.
My students are having a lot of fun doing this. They especially like looking at all of the different stickers. I keep a big box of various stickers in my studio.
Try this in January and let parents know how many pieces your students learned in 2020!
