I recently posted some small alphabet cards to use with beginning students. I also wanted cards of individual note and rest values so that students could make their own rhythm.
I made the cards to coordinate with Piano Safari Level 1.
The note values include:
- four eighth notes
- two eighth notes
- quarter note
- half note
- dotted half note
- whole note
The rests include:
- quarter rest
- half rest
- whole rest
To differentiate notes from rests for students, I printed the notes on different colored paper than the rests.
I then laminated and cut out the cards.
