This year I have really been enjoying using the Piano Safari method, rote pieces, and sight reading & rhythm cards. I recently started using the interval cards (a relatively new product) with beginning students. The cards cover steps & skips and use the landmark notes treble clef G & bass C. The cards have about four notes on each and do not include finger numbers. I really like that there are no finger numbers, because I have my students try each card with different fingers. Students do not have to be in the Piano Safari method to use the cards. Since students only need to know those two landmark notes to use the cards, they work well with other methods. The cards come with three different colors and each color has a smaller print. I hole punched and put my cards on a ring so I could keep them in order.
